Your Sarasota fan base was SO HAPPY to hear you play last Sat. nite. Tim, you were in great form and we enjoyed ourselves tremendously. It always a great experience to watch your fingers fly, making such great music. Thanks, Tim, and all the band. We'll be back when we can!

Caught your at the Hardrock last Friday and enjoyed your set, the best of the evening. I was there in support of a couple of guys I work with who were in the opening band. Glad I stayed a little longer than usual. Do you ever play in the Lake Mary area? Thanks.

If you want to hear something better than the usual bar/club band. Go hear Brutha Niel and the Real Deal. I've been to several shows, and they never disappoint me.

I was at the Winter Garden Halloween festival and heard Brutha and the Real Deal. First time. Awesome. Would love to have the schedule of when and where they are playing so we can go see them again. Any suggestions?

Glad to stumble back into the world of Tim Nielsen--I remember all the way back to the Molly Maguires and What's Left, and the famous echo of Nielsen and Lynch's "Hoorah for Ocoee" at the Key Coffee House. Next time I'm in Orlando, I'll try to find a Brutha Niel show--"I'm Tired" but I ain't dead yet...

Tim is a World Class player and writer of music that spans More than one generation in terms of style and influance that guns You down in a beat like a Browning Automatic Machine Gun at point blank! And I can't get enough of that!

I went to hear Brutha Neil and the Real Deal about a year ago. I had dinner with my son at Tom and Mony's in Orlando and I could hear the Brutha Niel and the Real Deal starting in the next room with "Unchain My Heart" by the incomparable "Ray Charles"! I knew then this was a band I was going to like :) They played many of the songs I heard later on Tim's CDs and they were rocking the house. The audience was definitely moved by the music and began singing backup to some songs! A great time was had by all! I "had" to buy a CD and Tim Nielsen recommended "LIGHT YEARS". I listened to it all the way home. Good blues-rock, thought provoking lyrics and some witty comments on life. My son is a UCF student and he really liked Tim's ability to play like Hendrix. He told friends and took them to hear Tim play. Since that night I've added "BRUTHA NIEL" and "109 E. McKEY STREET" to my Tim Nielsen collection. "109" was a big surprise with instrumental easy listening jazz and classical that has a calming relaxing laid back kinda feel. Thanks Tim and friends for a musical experience that makes you feel like "LIFE IS GOOD".

I remember Tim when....I was in 7th grade and he was in 9th grade. He has always had a love for music and the years of practice has paid off greatly. After not seeing or hearing him for 30 years, I attended one of BruthaNiel and the Real Deal shows a couple of years ago. All I can say is "AMAZING". I was so impressed with their music I bought two CDs. Their music brings back memories and the music Tim has written is Amazing. My favorite song is Baton Rouge. I consider it a privilege to know Tim and enjoy his musical talents.

I have all of CD's. While I have to admit a bias since I've know the guy for over 45 years and listened to his music almost daily during my teen years, I think anyone appreciating truly good music of all types will love these.
Tim's reflects his generation. We grew up in the truly great age of Rock Music, have become dienchanted with the tin sounding banging of rock today, but still like a little kick to our sounds. He crosses all boundaries of blues, jazz, and alternative country and rock. His instrumentation shines as do his lyrics. I'm a paricular fan of "I'm tired" which could be a middle agers national anthem. But Tim is and has always been about music. Anyone else who shares this passion will enjoy his music, regardless of age.
